2021 Rosé

Notes from the winemakers:
The 2021 Hills & Back Rosé saw us bring two strong Sangiovese vineyards together. The Turnbull Vineyard located in Charleston and Blows Vineyard located in Macclesfield. These 2 expressive parcels were picked, pressed and allowed to settle in tank, prior to ranking. With no pressing cuts or finning made during the juice extraction and settling phase we are looking to capture the full expression of each Vineyard. Fermented separately until three quarters of the way through primary fermentation, then we blended the two wines together. A delicate salmon colour gives our style away, layers of bright fresh red berries evolve from the glass. Lively fruit core, enhanced by a lifted textural drive gives length and versatility to the wine.
