2021 Fleet Young Wines Rosé

From Gippsland and the Lucinda Vineyard.
Syrah juice that comes off the press without pressing and some pinot noir from another wine in the mix. Hangs out in barrel to find its way in life. Cherry juice, blood orange, straight up. Light and fresh, a touch of brown spice in there? Crisp, zingy acidity a feature too. Slightly acrid finish, but lost a lot in all that blood orange zest that finishes the wine. Light chalkiness to texture too. Very pleasing, easy going rose here. Sunshine and rainbows. Mike Bennie - The Wine Front
