2021 Cheverny Rouge

Notes from the importer - Andrew Guard:
A blend of Rouillon abd Gravotte et Caillère. The weather came and took everything....so this year there is just one estate wine that is a blend of all the parcels - it shows bright, floral tart plum, raspberry and wild strawberry aromas with citrus and earth. The palate is lithe and sappy again with strawberry, plum skin, earth and spice. The finish is long and fruity with light, balancing tannin. Irresistible as always on release, this should be very interesting after a couple of years in the cellar.
