2021 Apple Farm Riesling

The relatively gentle growing conditions in the Mount Gambier area during the 2020/21 season contributed to a fantastic crop of high quality fruit from this small vineyard in OB Flat located approximately 10km southeast of town and the Blue Lake dormant volcano. The relatively deep sandy soils with a modest volcanic influence over limestone provide restrained aromatics and ever present tension in this briefly macerated (4 days on skins) barrel aged dry Riesling.
