Romain spent 7 years working for Tavel legend Eric Pfifferling!
Originally a Parisian, Romain is now one of the leaders of the young Southern Rhone movement. He got to learn the ropes off the legendary Eric Pfifferling aka Domain L’Anglore for seven years and now is producing incredible wines of his own. In the same vein of his mentor, he seeks to create cuvees that are elegant and ethereal yet extremely expressive. The 2021 Pousse Cailloux is built of 50% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah, Cinsault and Carignan which all undergo carbonic maceration. Aged half in barrels and half in vats, it retains tonnes of freshness. Complex yet soft and smooth. Dark red fruits, with a herbal lift.
