2020 Transmission Wine Co. Sauvignon Blanc
Notes from the winemakers...
Fruit sourced from Pettavel in Geelong. Fermented on skins (wild ferment) for 2 weeks until dry, basket pressed into stainless steel VC tank, allowed to settle and bottled directly off lees. Only 300L made. The wine is bright golden in colour; super fun tropical nose of peach, gooseberry, and mandarin with green capsicum notes; the palate is dry with more muted tropical punch characters - more grapefruit, dried pineapple and grassy notes with a touch of ginger spice, and a savoury finish. Great with seafood, tofu or salads. Perfect for drinking in the sunshine – picnic, park, beach.
