2020 Mallaluka Vermentino



The fruit for this new wine comes from the Riverland region of South Australia, Ricca Terra vineyards.
Completely de-stemmed and fermented on skins in one tonne open top vats using indigenous yeasts. Hand plunged twice daily, pressed off into stainless steel vats, then settled for 3 months. No fining or filtration used. Almond, green olive and the sea. Conservative autumn fruits, subtle yet persistent texture for an ‘amber’ wine this young.
