2020 Main + Cherry Auf Skins
A blend of 56% Gewürtztraminer and 44% Riesling.
Picked from a single site, 320 metres elevation. Gewurtztraminer picked first, spent 8 days on skins, Riesling picked second and spent 2 days on skins. Basket pressed, with free run + pressings to stainless steel tank, fermented slowly. Partial MLF in old French barriques for 3 months. Hand bottled without fining or filtration. Perfumed Turkish delight, citrus, fleshy peach characters, with orange-laden acidity lifting up the fruit.
