2020 Konpira Maru Whitlands Pinot Gris Gewurz

50% Pinot Gris and 50% Gewürztraminer from the Celeste vineyard, Whitlands, King Valley, Victoria, planted and still owned by the great Dr Jim Hardie.
Konpira have been looking after this vineyard for 4 years now and have gradually seen it's exciting return to form after some years in the wilderness. Managed organically with only copper and sulphur sprays. Straighter edge than 2019 due to the lack of skin contact, this really lets the fruit shine with peach, passionfruit and a beautiful viscosity.
