2020 Konpira Maru At Last
Konpira's usual flair in the name...
The full name is actually At Last, the Fruit of an Uncompromising and Unrelenting Pursuit of Perfection. OK then. Made with Sauvignon Blanc from the Grampians Wine Region fermented in new Sauri puncheon and Semillon from Quarry Ridge (Kilmore VIC) barrel fermented in 3rd year French hogsheads, this wine is crunchy but deep, crisp yet broad. Best enjoyed with a crumbed mackerel fillet and re-runs of Studs.
