2020 Halcyon Chardonnay

The Halcyon Block was planted in 1978!
The Halcyon Block never yields a lot, so the fruit is concentrated and extra special. 100% Old vine Chardonnay grown over white clay soil, fermented in concrete eggs and aged in a mix of old and new oak. Margaret River Chardonnay, but not as you may know it. Refined and mineral. Length as long as a trip on the Indian Pacific, but way better.
