2020 En Muzard

From the famed slopes of Montigny-les-Arsures in Arbois.
This single vineyard Chardonnay undergoes fermentation in stainless and upbringing on lees in old 300L barrels and bottled the following year. A bit closed at this stage. Notes of hazelnut, vanilla, dried galangal and citris with a lift of VA. On the palate its spicy and creamy with flavours of young ginger, lime and bitter grapefruit. Needs some time to open up but patience will be rewarded.
