Organic, no-till. Pato Cea and son Bastian (and his partner Michelle). 7th and 8th generation growers, País vines at least 250 years old on deep volcanic black sand on the banks of the river Bio Bio.On skins for three days, grapes were then hand pressed (Bastian and Michelle literally squeezed the juice from the grapes with their hands), they got 400lts out. Tart berries, stone-fruit pips and rose petals. A serious, almost campari note of dried herbs. Ract and tangy, with a surprising generosity. Cool-climate, organic zero-till, volcanic soils, 250+yr-old vines of País.
