Based in the small town Blacé, in Beaujolais, Sylvere Trichard took over his families four hectares of vines from his uncle in 2012.
There are now 6.5 hectares under vine, all farmed organically. This is fruit from the nearby parcels recently acquired by Sylvere (2.5 h). Organically grown for 4 years (uncertified) - semi-carbonic maceration, then aged in concrete and old wooden casks before bottling with minimal SO2. A light spritz on opening, but goes quickly. The quintessential wine from Sylvere - bright, driven but with tension on the palate.
