2020 Bobar Shiraz Viognier

Shiraz is from Dixon’s Creek is the homebase for this wine, the Viognier is outta Yarra Glen.
“Generous amounts of Viognier” goes in, and crushed Shiraz goes on top. Foot stomped a bit later to mix it up and co-ferment a bit more. Crisp and racy red of high sense of freshness and purity. Rips along the palate with light lactic creaminess then a Campari-like tang rumbles through. It’s such a vibrant, appealing, pretty red wine. So thirst-quenching too.
