2020 Arfion Willowlake Vineyard Pinot Noir

Ahh, Willowlake, a well-plundered site in Yarra Valley with a raft of producers using the great fruit there.
Here’s another. Lifted, herbal and green pepper scents with dark cherry and anise notes in the mix. Darker, more brooding scents, though freshness with that herby stuff going on. Very delicate, very pure-feeling, light and with a dancing touch on the palate, quite narrow in its aperture but with lots of good cherry fruit flavour and a raft of mixed herb and spice.
