Wine meets Ambrosia.
Piquette is the French name for a beverage made from adding water to the pomace (pressed skins) left over from winemaking. Sauvignon Blanc grape skins and stems from Mt Barker (grown by Ryan O’Meara of Express Winemakers) were soaked with water for five months before pressing and the addition of Esperance Merrit and Moort honey and garden flowers (for colour and aromatics). Bottled with some residual sugar for some spritz. A serious thirst quencher.
