This is 100% whole bunch sangiovese, from De Bortoli estate. Mayer Inc winemaking applied.
Really meaty kind of feel to this wine. Gamey, spicy, herbal, bit-lip fresh blood. Love it. Juicy and a little jubey, almost, silky tannins work in a corkscrew and builds to a very good stony-puckering finish. Has a kind of transparency to the wine, a diffuse thing perhaps, but them tannins are wonderful. Mike Bennie - The Wine Front
