2019 Sete Buccia
Some of the vineyards used in this wine are 70 years old.
That's old. It's a blend of 60% Ottonese, 20% Malvasia and 20% Trebbiano. Buccia refers to the skin or peel on a piece of fruit - this wine has the longest amount of skin contact out of the new releases - 3 weeks. We felt it looked lighter than the other wines though. It seems more together - the acid is less driving. Such a pleasant beverage.
