2019 Romain Le Bars Lirac Rosé

One of our wines of the year - we actually got it last year but I mean this year...
100% Mourvedre. Direct press, aged and made in 600L old barrels. A deep, ruby garnet in colour, with complex aromas of ripe plums. What strikes on the palate is the elegance and harmony, there’s depth but so much finesse. Beautiful length, oak wisps kiss the sides, tart redskins, dried herbs backed by luscious red fruit. Acidity kicks at the back, dark fruits with an underlying level of freshness.
