2019 Romain Le Bars Lirac

A blend of 50% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre, 20% Syrah and 10% Cinsualt and Carignan.
Whole bunch carbonic maceration, elevage half in barrique and half in tank. No sulphur. Lifted bright black fruits, the palate is densely packed black currants and cola, the velvety tannins are perfectly weighted for the fruit. Great length with zippy dark fruit that pulsates through the wine. Beautifully balanced with an underlying drive that is pure and focused.
