2019 Partida Creus UL

Ull de Llebre is an old indigenous Catalan clone of Tempranillo.
The first thing that strikes and the words that come to mind are, this is a serious wine, a wine of structure and depth. It has a core of dark fruit supported by freshness and feathery fine tannins. Its fluid, there is soft herbs and hints of mint that dance with plump blue fruit, the palate displays elegance and wonderful length. It has vitality yet power also. I would encourage you to decant this, it is a wine that loves oxygen, becoming more integrated and expressive. A beautiful wine.
