2019 Ngeringa Syrah

Gee, this is a quirky wine.
Dead set, it smells like freshly cut cucumber, turmeric, bark, rose petal jam, pepper and cherry. It’s squishy and tastes like cucumber mixed with maraschino cherry, soft and soapy feel, white pepper and poached strawberry to close. Hard to get my head around really. It’s not a bad wine at all, as such, but it’s really odd. Gary Walsh - The Wine Front
