Jean Francois "Jeff" Coutelou quietly produces some of the finest quality and best value wines in the Languedoc and has lots of interest in his small production that sells out in an instant every year.
The domaine was established by his father in 1972 and has been run organically since 1987, "before this type of production became fashionable” says Jean Francois - with pride these days! It is no wonder really as he makes wines full of brightness, freshness and vitality in a region where the vast majority of it's wines are prone to flatness and dullness. His vines an oasis in a land of dreary viticultural continuity.
