2019 Jilly Wines White Wolf of Cumbria Rosé

Tempranillo, Chardonnay, Mourvèdre, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Viognier.
Phew. Tiny parcels of rose happen and are blended at Jilly. Half New England, half from Wallington vineyard in Canowindra (one of those town names that is decidedly un-phonetic). Hand-picked and whole bunch pressed rose, with grapes grown/selected for rose production.
Pale pink. Fragrant rose shows rose hip tea characters, whiffs of sweet spice, pepper, raspberry. Juicy in the palate but light on, slight, crisp tannins, with a perky and zingy-fresh finish. Pale flavours but done so well. Vibrant rose expression in gentler form. Such drinkability! Mike Bennie - The Wine Front
