2019 Jessica Litaud Pouilly-Fuissé La Simplexité

This small 5 hectare estate in the Mâconnais is going to make some waves.
Jessica made her first vintage in 2019 but her family are established vignerons in the famous part of Pouilly-Fuissé, Vergisson. Again an attractive platinum colour, translucent and seemingly full of energy. A gentle hint of reduction in the aromatics leads to a core of citrus, green apple, and again, fleurs blanches; this is very fine in style. Aromatically attractively high toned and nicely chiselled on the palate, it is superb with lovely bright saline notes tempering the fruit and fanning out the precise finish.
