2019 Jessica Litaud Pouilly-Fuissé La Roche

This small 5 hectare estate in the Mâconnais is going to make some waves.
Jessica made her first vintage in 2019 but her family are established vignerons in the famous part of Pouilly-Fuissé, Vergisson. One of the great vineyards of the appellation, Macon's own Puligny 'Perrieres' - the colour is a vibrant light gold/platinum and limpid like the others. We have more dimension and power here - powerful peach, hazelnut and citrus fruit convey a Côte d'Or-like richness. This is a full-bodied, captivating wine with attractive musky sweetness perfectly countered by firm acidity and a solid spicy spine, it finishes with superb length!
