Jean-Paul worked his first vintage in 2007 in Nuits Saint George, Burgundy.
He starting out picking grapes, but somehow ended up in the winery within a week. Notes from him - Grown at 600 metre altitude on granitic soils: a great place for a slow and long maturation. Fermented with indigenous yeast, aged in French oak for 12 months. This wine is a great example of an Australian Shiraz from a cool region. Flavours of blueberries and brambles and a hint of allspice.
