2019 Halcyon Days Gris-Noir



For the first two years of Halcyon Days, the fruit has all been purchased from an organic (certified by BioGro) site in the Matahanghi sub region of Hawke's Bay.
Whole bunches of pinot gris macerated in the juice of direct press pinot noir. I'm am madly, madly in love with the style of fruit in this wine. It drinks as a light, delicate orange wine with supple structure and super delicious primary fruit. One of my favourite wines of the year, without question. Serve nice and cool.
