2019 Guttarolo Anfora Bianco

Cristiano Guttarolo’s vineyards are away from the plains which often produce hot, flabby wines, on a plateau of limestone some 400 metres above sea level, they benefit from the unique climate in which they live.
This is a maceration of local variety Verdeca, which spent five days on skins before being pressed off to terracotta amphorae for two months. A wine of gorgeous aromatics, with notes of bergamot and spice, it has some fine little tannins to boot. Just 800 bottles were made. Tutto Wines
