2019 Gismondi Pietre Crucella



Originally, Gismondi sold fruit to the local co-op other besides one tonne which they made a wine from.

This was until family friend Massimo Marchiori (Partida Creus) said stop selling it to the co-op and sell the wine! The Crucella is a blend of Fresia, Sangiovese and Merlot - all co-fermented. Plenty of red berries with a cherry finish. The acid line is really gentle, and backed up with lovely tannin. Lifted and layered.
