Originally, Gismondi sold fruit to the local co-op other besides one tonne which they made a wine from.
This was until family friend Massimo Marchiori (Partida Creus) said stop selling it to the co-op and sell the wine! The Pietre is a blend of Falanghina and Malvasia. Really pretty on the nose. A tart wine with plenty of salty edges. It loves food.
