2019 Gentle Folk Village Chardonnay

Found in chardonnay of Gentle Folk are vineyards of Scary Gully, Ashton, Piccadilly. The evolution of Gentle Folk continues with quality on the rise-and-rise off a high base. Great to drink it up. Lovely fog of perfume, stone fruit, ripe citrus, some clove, faint apricot coconut but not overtly so. Has a lusciousness in palate, soft and round, bright acidity cooling things and stretching flavours, more stone fruit and ripe citrus here too. Sumptuous feel but not over the top, just lots of really true and great grape flavour, oh, and a little oaky guilty pleasure seamlessly woven in the mix. So delicious. A feast.
