2019 Forlorn Hope Queen Of The Sierra Estate Amber

A mix of white grapes off the Rorick Heritage Vineyard, a fascinating site lovingly tended by the Forlorn Hope duo of Matt Rorick and his cool as co-worker Danielle Shehab.
Orange wine. Mango, guava notes, floral and pretty to sniff on. Chewy, puckering, so dry and deliciously tannic, orange and ginger tea, green herbs, kind of floral notes, complex and serious and all that delicious. Has this juiciness too. It’s wild, fun and very good. Complex, wonderful expression. Mike Bennie - The Wine Front
