Phew. What a thing! The chardonnay is made separately however, then blended with the hybrid grape ferments. Crazy town. Hello Japan. So savoury, so jubey, lollies and herbs and spice. Orange peel, tobacco, green herbs. Such a distinct and yet unique feel to this wine. Fine tannins shape things, perky acidity sits under and through the wine. It’s a feast for the senses.
