2019 Fattoria al Fiore Genchi
A celebration of Japanese foxy varieties neo muscat and niagara.
The niagara was carbonic macerated then blended with neo muscat. Chill oil, pineapple, green melon and cucumber to sniff on. So primary. Crisp and crunchy in the palate but ultra delicate and fine, pure as can be, so expressive, and finishes fine and powdery. There’s a tea-like quality here, jasmine and green teas with lemon slices, or something like that. Same kind of tannin as high quality tea too. Utterly compelling. Other worldly.
