2019 Elio Altare Nebbiolo
Fruit from 50 year old vines on calcareous and sandy soils.
Maceration on the skins for roughly 3 to 4 days in rotary fermenters with temperature control. Then into some used French barriques for 5 months. Delicate, fresh aromas of rose petals and red fruits. Nice tannins, but not dry. Juicy.
