2019 Domaine Nakajima Pet Nat Rosé
In 2011 Yutaka Nakajima planted his vineyard in Tomi, Nagano with the winery following in 2014.
This is made from the table grape variety Kyoho, which has large berries. After harvest they are dried for two weeks prior to being pressed without any skin contact and fermented in bottle without sulphur or other additives. Once fermentation is finished, the wine is bottled with some fresh juice. No sulphur added. The wine is not disgorged and so is a little cloudy. The result is a lightly fizzy, pale pink in colour, guava bomb with linear citrus and red cherry fruit. Crushing.
