2019 Melon à Queue Rouge
Phillppe created his own domaine in 2013!
Phillipe Chatillon is based in Passenans which is in the Jura department of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. He was previously the estate manager at the La Pinte à Arbois domaine for 18 years. One thing that sets him apart from others in the Jura is his use of music within the cellar. He believes that sound waves help balance wines. Thus, he uses a crystal harp and singing bows in the cellar to provide this. Biodynamic Melon à Queue Rouge planted on clay and limestone and aged in barrel. Nutty and expressive. Supremely delicious. Give it a bit of time to breathe and reap the benefits.
