Very good Macclesfield Vineyard in Yarra and a young star of the region here.
Really digging on the Combes vibe, man. Here’s something more to do for yourself. Cool and restrained but with amazing minerality and just that touch of moreish juiciness. Scents of hay and sea spray, green apple juice, lime zest, some faint green herbs and wet fern characters. Love it. Length for days, deliciousness for a week, a generally just straight up banger chardonnay of complexity, freshness and interest.
