2019 Colleformica Formica Pazza Gialla
The Bombetti family have been farming their 3 hectares of land for over 100 years.
This is 75% Malvasia and 25% Trebbiano. Macerated for 24 hours prior to pressing, rested in fibreglass, re-fermentation with free run must of the same vintage. Un-disgorged. A citrus bomb, zesty, lime juice and lemon pith twirled around freshness and acidity, a delight to awaken the palate. As it opens theres lemon curd, pomelo and apples with a little lemon sherbet in there too. Salty, great zip and incredibly moreish, the perfect aperitif.
