2019 Colle Florido Il Postino
Il Postino gets the name from a 25 year old vineyard, which once belonged to the local postman. The Trebbiano is de-stemmed by hand and left on skins for about 12 hours. Pressed with a vertical press. Fermented and aged in stainless steel vats and old barriques. After the malolactic is concluded the wine is bottled the following spring. Total SO2 below 20ppm. Yellow pulp stone fruits mixed with some sea breeze. Palate is light yet layered, fresh yet with long. Straight and pure. Sancerre from the Adriatic sea.
