2019 Cascina delle Rose A Elizabeth Dolcetto

From old vineyards in Tre Stelle and Rio Sordo.
Tasted quickly over lunch, with notes typed into my phone, which I always think, makes one look very rude. Though I’m kind of rude anyway, so maybe it suits. Red cherry, cola nut, liquorice/five spice, a smattering of herb. Light. Fresh. Red fruited, bright with dusty tannin, a light sappy, almost cranberry friskiness. Clean long tight finish. Energetic.
