2019 Aurélien & Charlotte Houillon Indigo

We're excited to have the very rare wines of Charlotte and Aurélien Houillon.
Aurélien is the youngest of the Houillon clan, and along with brother Emmanuel and sister Adeline, spent his formative years under the tutelage of famed legend Pierre Overnoy. This is from 70 year old vines of Grenache (40%) with 50 year old vines of Syrah (60%). All fruit is de-stemmed and kept on skins for 8 weeks before a 12 month elevage on fine lees in the barrel. Powerful with a homely warmth, a wine for the cellar.
