2019 Arfion Fever
Notes from winemaker Dave Mackintosh:
This wine isn’t about one variety. By blending varieties we are increasing the interactions of the year and hopefully eliminating variety as a key feature. The proportion of each changes each year. These decisions are run fairly impulsively by how we see the vintage. It's a blend of Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Chardonnay, Savagnin and Pinot Noir. A colourful mix of pink and orange, Fever has a vibrant nose of red apple, rose petal, lychee, mandarin skin and glazed cherry. It has a bright palate with a juicy texture and a hint of white tannin grip.
