2019 Anders Frederik Steen Now is when I know I love you



Chardonnay, sourced from GAEC de Maze.
Only pressurage direct. A long and slow press of four days in the pressoir. This wine is made from the last part of the juice of the press, but with no maceration. That said, the juice has been exposed to a lot of oxidation during the press and therefore the wine has a colour between deep orange and brown. The fermentation took place in a 500lt barrel for 10 months. No racking. Bottled in July 2020. Anders says: "You can say it’s an orange wine, but in fact it’s not, as it hasn’t been macerated."
