Didier and Denis Berthollier’s grandfather started the winery back in 1850!
The Berthollier brothers work on the steep slopes of Chignin, Savoie. They look to follow organic and biodynamic principles and most vineyard work is done by hand. These are basically the same techniques their grandfather used over one hundred years ago. A blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay in the 2018 vintage of Sel De Marius. Light and ethereal, a beautifully weighted and structured red. Dried fruits a plenty, earthy and aromatic. What else do you need?
