Tim Stock is a legendary importer and distributor who has always made a bit of wine on the side. This is getting a bit more serious now, notes from him: Sourced from unpruned ‘wild’ vines on Morialta Vineyard on the front of the first ridge of the Adelaide Hills. Naturally farmed by neglect. The resulting tiny bunches have yielded great intensity. The usual barrel fermentation of free run juice only with pressings put aside for the Jura[sic] program. Full malo and treated fairly mean. The wine responds appropriately with a purging of unnecessary overt Savvy notes bringing instead minerality, citrus edged fruits and supreme white wine texture. A source of great surprise. An enlightened expression of Sauvignon Blanc.
