2018 La Petite Mort V.M.R.
Whole berries of Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne fermented in terra cotta amphora for 67 days - skins and all!!
This "amber wine" (aka orange - but not to be confused with wine from Orange) is definitely something out of the ordinary. The Viognier gives fruit and perfume while the Marsanne lends it's waxy texture and the Roussanne gives a hint of savouriness. This wine is bottled un-fined and un-filtered so a little bit of sediment is both likely and intentional.
