2018 Guttarolo Miro



We had lunch with Cristiano Guttarolo late last year, when you could still have lunch with people, at 10 William Street.
All the wines looked excellent, but this one really stood out. These notes from Tutto in London are perfecto - From his youngest vines of Primitivo, this spent just four days on skins, with fermentation and élevage in stainless steel, where it rested until the following May. This is a wine of blissful simplicity. It is light, bright and crunchy, full of tart young fruit that is just incredibly appetising.
